How to get technical assistance

Keeping your Chromebook safe!

The Fleetwood Tiger visited us in IT last year to help us show our students how to take care of their Chromebooks! You can see the video of the Tiger's visit HERE. 

 

 

Student Device (both iPad and Chromebook) Insurance

We are offering device insurance for all grade levels, and we highly encourage all families to opt into the insurance program. To assist families in financial need, students who qualify for free lunch are automatically (and at no cost) enrolled in the insurance program. Students who qualify for reduced lunch are able to participate in the insurance program for a reduced cost. The insurance form can be found by clicking HERE

Note: Insurance forms should be completed and sent with payment (a check is preferred) to your child's building office. 
(This is done so that students' insurance participation can be accurately tracked.)

We continue to see the most common damage is a broken Chromebook screen. This is happening often and is usually due to items being left on the Chromebook keyboard when the device is closed. We're also seeing frequent instances of liquid spills on Chromebooks. 

Families- please note that the offered insurance program does not provide coverage for malicious nor intentional damage done to the device. 

For families of students receiving iPads (grades K through 2), we encourage insurance participation for your students as well to protect devices from any accidental damages that may occur.
