Through the Fleetwood Virtual Academy, the Fleetwood Area School District offers a variety of online courses tailored to meet student needs and specific situations. Students have the option to enroll in exclusively online courses through Edgenuity or opt for a blend of online courses and traditional classroom-based courses.

Our program delivers a high-quality, accredited online curriculum for grades 6-8. Designed to accommodate students across the achievement spectrum, from struggling readers to high achievers, our online courses offer a flexible format and advanced performance tracking tools. Lessons can be easily customized to each student's skill level and adjusted dynamically for optimal results.

The virtual academy allows students in grades 6-8 to access their courses from the convenience of their homes. The online format provides flexibility not available in the traditional classroom environment. Students can access their courses from home, school, the public library, or any location with internet access.

Distinguishing Features of Online Programs: While all programs aim to help students reach their full potential, the platforms and educational methodologies differ. Imagine Edgenuity is oriented more towards independent student learning, with parents having access to monitor their child's academic progress. All curriculum and textbooks are available online.
